CelebrateHer: 12 publicly nominated women are recognized in an installation combining large-scale paintings from artist Aquil Virani with an audio play crafted by playwright/creator Erin Lindsay in collaboration with Imago’s Artistic Director Micheline Chevrier.

Presented as a visual installation with an audio play component CelebrateHer is a feminist art project – inspired by interviews with 12 inspiring, publicly nominated women – that explores gender expectations, diverse perspectives on womanhood, everyday activism, and the complexities of allyship.
The goal? “To present and lend amplification to the stories and lived experiences of a diverse group of badass women.” Watch the video previews at celebrateher.ca.
