A GATHERING WHERE ENRAGED ARTISTS SHARE STORIES ABOUT OUR PLANET

Montreal theatre artists will present a reading series of short plays that address the devastating realities of climate change with stories that urge us, as often only stories can, to stop, wake up, be enraged, and do better.
As individuals and as local and global communities.

This gathering is a part of Climate Change Theatre Action’s initiative to raise global awareness about climate change through the use of art, story and narrative.

“No one can stop me, cause I still got my tongue.”

The Tropic of X, by Latinx playwright Caridad Svich, is the story of Maura and Mori, two street kid lovers and arcade freaks who live in a touristed wasteland at the end of the alphabet. Maura and Mori’s love is mythic quicksilver hope: medicine in a toxic, cruel, and unrelenting world
