Elsewhere is a one-person show that uses mask and storytelling to reveal the thoughts,

An urban artistic event about the life of Hasidic women of Montreal.
A woman’s journey into the everyday life of the other turns into a theatrical experience for
citizens that don’t mingle. For a brief moment a wall is pierced, a distance cut short.
What does “meeting the other” truly says about us?

ARTISTA will be going into its 5th year in Imago’s 2018/2019 season.
Recruitment for the ensemble begins in October, 2018

ARTISTA builds and empowers a community of Montreal young women and supports them through the early stages of their careers, whatever those may be. Artistic independence and confidence, as well as increased knowledge in artistic craftsmanship are acquired through mentorship, creative collaboration and performance training.
